FIELD TRIP INFORMATION

Teachers, we are going to do our best to make the day as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for you, so our #1 tip would be: prepare your students and chaperones in advance of the trip. We have found that on arrival, children are so excited and it is hard to keep their attention and give rules and instructions. If you can do this ahead of time in the classroom, we can then be brief in our orientation. More importantly, if chaperones know the routine and what they need to do to assist you teachers, your day will be way smoother. Sometimes parents come separately from the group and it is difficult for us to gather them up for the orientation. To help you out, we have prepared a chaperone information sheet that you can send home beforehand. We recommend that you ask them to read and sign it along with the permission slip.

ADMISSION- $5.50 per person in September and $6.00 per person in October ASK ABOUT OUR GROUP DISCOUNT FOR ADVANCE PURCHASE AND EARLY RESERVATIONS Click here for online reservations

CORRALES LOCATION: 6445 Corrales Rd.

DIRECTIONS: From Albuquerque, take I-25 north to the Alameda exit. Go west approximately 4 miles. Turn right on to Corrales Rd and go 4.2 miles to 6445 Corrales Rd. We are on the west side of Corrales Rd.

If entering Corrales from 528 on the north end, go 2.3 miles

CHECK-IN: Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time. There will be an admission booth where teachers can check in their group. A single payment for the entire group is preferred, as it speeds up the check-in process. The price applies to ALL who attend; students, school staff, parent volunteers, and siblings. We give one free teacher admission per 20 students. Once your group has checked in, you will be issued wristbands for each person and then you will proceed to a brief orientation.

TIP: We have some schools that send someone in a few days before the trip to prepay and get wristbands and that really helps speed up check-in.

ORIENTATION: After check-in, your group will be escorted to a sitting area where you will be welcomed and given a brief overview of the trip. Again, please have your group prepared ahead of time so this is just a quick review.
